What CHIP costs. In full.
Flat game-launch fees for creators who want to launch an arcade. Published prices for standard launches, custom skins, and a direct sales conversation when the game itself needs to be built from scratch.
Every fee is named before a creator signs. No hidden charges. No data monetization. No pay-to-win.
Choose the launch shape. Know the cost.
CHIP pricing is based on the kind of game launch a creator needs. The launch fee is separate from payment processing and any future platform fee on processed volume.
| Tier | Price | Best for | What it covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tier 1: Ready Game Launch | $1,500 flat | Existing CHIP game/cabinet with little to no custom work | Standard campaign setup, minimal configuration, supplied campaign assets, launch QA |
| Tier 2: Custom Skin Launch | $4,500 flat | Existing CHIP game/cabinet with campaign-specific visual skin | Custom visual theme, sprite/art overlay, campaign-specific copy, QA across supported browsers/devices |
| Tier 3: Custom Game | Contact sales for Tier 3 pricing | Entirely custom game mechanics or bespoke game experience | Discovery, scope, production plan, custom mechanics/art, integration review, launch QA |
What the fee is not:
- Not a cut of the cause's other revenue
- Not a per-player charge
- Not a data sale
- Not a markup on processing
Processing and platform fees: Payment processing is a separate pass-through charged by the payment processor. If CHIP charges a platform fee on processed volume, that fee is published separately before a creator signs and shown transparently in payout reporting.
Three launch tiers. Pick the amount of production work.
CHIP's platform stays the same at every tier. The flat fee changes only when CHIP does more game production for the creator.

Things we will never charge for.
- Player accounts. Creating an account, joining an arcade, building streaks, earning badges — always free.
- The Glass Ledger. Reading it, linking to it, verifying it — free for everyone.
- Badges. Earned through action, never purchased. No pay-to-win. No badge store.
- Data portability. Export your data, your streaks, your impact receipts. It's yours.
- The Constitution. The anti-manipulation pledge applies at every tier. We don't sell honesty as a premium feature.
The rules our pricing follows.
- Published fees stay published. Tier 1 and Tier 2 have flat public prices. Tier 3 is contact sales because a custom game must be scoped before it can be priced honestly.
- Every fee is explained. You know what you're paying and what it covers before you sign.
- No hidden fees. If a required fee exists, it belongs on this page or in the signed scope.
- No pay-to-win. Badges and status are earned. Money buys nothing inside the game.
- No data monetization. Player data is never sold, rented, or traded. This is a pricing commitment, not just a privacy one.
- Processing is pass-through. Card and payment processor costs are shown separately and never marked up.
FAQ
- Q: Are these monthly subscriptions?
- A: No. These are one-time game-launch tiers based on how much production work the creator needs.
- Q: Are there setup fees?
- A: The setup work is included in the published launch fee for Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 3 is scoped with sales because custom games vary too much to price honestly without discovery.
- Q: Can a creator start with Tier 1 and later add a custom skin or custom game?
- A: Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime. Data and player relationships are never held hostage.
- Q: Are donations processed through CHIP?
- A: No. CHIP is a technology layer. All funds are processed by [payment processor name] and settle directly to each cause's designated account. CHIP never takes custody of donations.
- Q: Does CHIP sell player data or premium badges?
- A: No. CHIP does not sell data, and money never buys badges, status, or leaderboard advantage inside the game.
